DISRUPTIVE BEHAVIOR CLINIC

The Disruptive Behavior Clinic was opened by Dr. Randy Salekin in November 2008 in the University of Alabama Psychology Clinic. The clinic is designed to provide assessment and treatment for conduct problem youth and compliments other clinical work being conducted in the broader Psychology Clinic. GEROPSYCHOLOGY CLINIC

The clinic provides psychological treatment and counseling to address the social, emotional, psychological, and behavioral needs of older adults. The clinic also provides comprehensive psychological evaluations to assist clients and their families in understanding cognitive functioning, educational needs and personality assessment. CHILD AND ADOLESCENT ANXIETY CLINIC

The Child and Adolescent Anxiety Clinic, a specialty clinic within the UA Psychology Clinic, was established in 2014 by Dr. Matthew JarrettĀ . This clinic specializes in the assessment and treatment of child and adolescent anxiety disorders including generalized anxiety disorder, social phobia, separation anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, specific phobias, and selective mutism. The treatment approach utilized within the clinic involves cognitive behavioral therapy, an evidence-based treatment for child and adolescent anxiety disordersĀ .
